founder & lead designer
Hey there, I'm Alexis! For over a decade, I worked in the worlds of beauty and media communications, as a professional makeup artist and blogger.
By working as a makeup artist in fashion and entertainment in the bustling cities of New Orleans and New York City, I was able to be a part of some amazing campaigns and marketing projects. I’ve worked with brands like Gap, Neiman Marcus, Maybelline, Seventeen Magazine, Anne Klein, WWD, Donna Karan, Zac Posen, Dennis Bosso, Essence Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Fader Magazine, Amika, and Warby Parker, to name just a few.
I wholeheartedly believe this high level exposure to brand development and digital marketing, helped prepare me for what I'm able to do now for my design clients.
I retired from the beauty industry in 2017 and relocated to my home state of Mississippi, where I currently reside.
Soon after, I took everything I knew about marketing, brand development, web design, and most importantly, supporting ambitious women through the power of a makeover, and launched Lex Creative.
At the studio, we focus on branding and website design, for women-led small businesses in the lifestyle, beauty, and wellness industries. As a former beauty professional, I know firsthand how important first impressions are. We help you achieve STUNNING first impressions that leave your brand more profitable and easily recognizable.
In the simplest of terms, I'm a transformation expert. And whether that's been through makeup, branding, web design, photography, or creative direction, I take brands and companies from drab to fab. If that sounds like something you need for your business, my team and I would LOVE to help you. Reach out here.
